Senate Candidate Albert Kiming'in Denies Receiving Sh10 Million from Jubilee to Step Down

National Vision Party (NVP) Senate candidate Albert Kiming'in "Ole Kitii" has denied claims that he has received Sh10 Million from the Jubilee Party to step bow out of the Senator race for Narok County.

Mr Kiming'in accused his Jubilee competitor Nkoidila Lankas of spreading the malicious rumour against him to derail his supporters.

"These are baseless rumours and I want to tell the people of Narok that I will never betray the trust they have bestowed on me. I am still fully in the race," he clarified.

The Jubilee candidate dismissed the accusation saying that Mr Kiming'in was only looking for attention and such an offer was never made.

Mr Lankas further denied claims that the NVP candidate offered a great challenge to his bid due to his growing popularity.

"I am ready to face my opponents on the ballot. I cannot bribe anyone to step down as I have the will of the people. Those claiming so are desperate for attention," Lankas defended.

Mr Kiming'in is depending on support from the Kipsigis community and youth of the Ormeshuki age set where he belongs, to win the seat.

The 25-year-old holds a Masters degree in Economics from the Kenyatta University and will also be facing off with ODM's Ledama ole Kina on August 8.
