Top KCB rugby player James Kilonzo has been shot dead.
Mr Kilonzo was attacked by thugs outside an M-Pesa shop at Kasarani on Monday evening.
The player had allegedly gone to withdraw some cash from the shop when the thugs shot him in the chest.
Kilonzo who previously played for Catholic Monks joined KCB in 2015.
He plays alongside his elder brother Peter Kilonzo who plays as a centre for KCB.
The deceased was the first choice in the team.
He won the Kenya Cup Title for KCB this season as well as the Enterprise Cup beating Kabras Sugar in both finals.
