Nairobi Governorship Aspirant Miguna Miguna Lectures KTN News Anchor Michael Gitonga On Air

Nairobi Governorship aspirant Miguna Miguna was hosted on KTN News on Wednesday morning and he tore apart news anchor Michael Gitonga.

Miguna was asked to share his vision for Nairobi County but started by attacking his rivals; incumbent governor Evans Kidero, Senator Mike Sonko and Peter Kenneth saying they all had criminal records while his lacked blemish.

Gitonga asked him to sell his manifesto instead of talking about his opponents but Miguna responded by saying he would 'answer questions the way he wants.'

He went ahead to correct the interviewer on several occasions, asking him to get his facts right before asking questions.

Mr Gitonga appeared agitated by those comments and at some point even asked Miguna to show some courtesy as the interview threatened to get out of hand.

Miguna later articulated his plan saying how he would decongest Nairobi and also touched on a solid waste management system that will tackle collection, storage, transport, source separation, processing, treatment, recovery, and disposal of solid waste.

He further highlighted a master plan that was handed to Kenya by Japan as far as planning is concerned and said he would use that to assign numbers to buildings.

When asked whether he was willing to work with the next governor if he does not emerge victorious, Miguna said, "I do not answer hypothetical questions."
