National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate, Raila Odinga's Spokesman Salim Lone has revealed the former Prime Minister's political future after 2017.
Speaking on Wednesday morning, Mr Lone affirmed that the 2017 election was Mr Odinga's last bid for the Presidency and that he would not contest in any other poll.
"Unfortunately it is his last attempt he won't run again if he loses but I don't have a sense that he will lose," Lone stated during an interview on HOT 96 FM.
The Spokesman dismissed claims that Mr Odinga was tired and unable to lead the country, stating that "he has a lot of energy to take this country for the next five years".
On the upcoming elections, Mr Lone stated that NASA would win the elections in the first round and dismissed claims by recent opinion polls that there would be a runoff.
The NASA Senior Communication Director explained that President Uhuru Kenyatta will lose the August election because he failed in his first term and as such, Kenyans do not trust him anymore.
Mr Lone noted that in case the NASA loses, they will accept defeat for a free and fair process.
He, however, expressed minimal confidence in the IEBC stating that the poll body's obsession with Al-Ghurair Printing firm was raising eyebrows.
Mr Lone urged all their supporters to turn out in large numbers on August 8th and overwhelmingly vote for NASA.
