Missing IEBC ICT Manager Chris Msando has been found dead.

Msando's body was discovered at the City Mortuary on Monday morning.

His body was found with several injuries and his right forearm broken, indicating that he could have been tortured before being killed.

He had visible injuries in the back, the left side of his head and on his belly, with both of his hands bearing cut wounds.

On his neck, reports indicate he had many injuries, pointing to possible strangling and bludgeoning by the killers.

According to family members, the body was found at Nguriunditu area in Kikuyu, 10 kilometres off Waiyaki Way and was taken to the morgue on Saturday.

Area residents claimed several other bodies, including that of a woman, had recently been dumped at the same location.

Morgue attendants divulged that the Msando was brought in by the police and booked as an unidentified adult.

Around an hour later, the body of a woman who is said to have been last seen with the ICT boss was also brought in with injuries including a bullet wound.

His body was moved to the Lee Funeral Home where a post-mortem exercise is expected to be conducted.

Earlier, his car, a grey Land Rover Discovery, was found parked behind the Thika Road Mall on Thika Superhighway and was towed to Kasarani Police Station.

A statement sent by Chebukati had indicated that the missing official’s last communication was a text message to one of his colleagues at around 3 am on Saturday which suggested that he was conscious and fully aware of his itinerary for that day.
