Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has announced that he owes nobody any explanation over his Facebook post about the murder of IEBC Senior ICT manager Chris Msando.
The MP, while speaking to a local daily on Tuesday evening, noted that social media users were not police officers and as such he would not bow to their pressure to explain circumstances under which he posted about a vehicle found parked in Nairobi's Roysambu Estate.
"I owe nobody any explanations. The media and social media are not part of the police and I refuse to be dragged into this political circus.
"It will be an exercise in futility... what will happen after explaining myself to you?" Kuria told The Standard.
On Monday, the Legislator found himself in trouble after he posted a picture of the Late Msando's vehicle at Roysambu and claimed that the ICT manager was 'enjoying sweet time with a woman' and linked National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga to his disappearance.
"So this is Chris Msando's vehicle right now here at Roysambu.
"The idiot is enjoying sweet time with a woman. And the story was that he is privy to 'rigging' and he can't be found.
"Verily, verily I say unto you Raila. You will not burn this country. Not when I am alive," read the post.

The post angered Kenyans who felt that Kuria should be put to task over his post.
Mr Kuria, however, pulled down the post and refused to give any explanations.
