A postmortem conducted on the body of the 21-year-old woman murdered alongside IEBC ICT Manager Chris Msando has revealed how she was killed.
Carol Ngumbu died after being strangled with what is believed to be a rope.
This was disclosed on Thursday following the conclusion of an autopsy conducted at the City Mortuary.
Her body has now been released to her family.
On Wednesday, it was revealed that the ICT Manager was strangled to death "most likely by the use of bare hands".
Msando's autopsy was conducted at the Lee Funeral Home by Government Chief Pathologist Johansen Oduor and Bessie Byakika for the family.
The postmortem disclosed his killers also hit him with a blunt object in the head inflicting a deep cut.
His back had deep scratches, indicating the body was either dragged on a rough surface or scratched. His right hand had deep cuts giving an indication of severe torture using a very sharp object.
