Many people associate witch doctors with poverty and that a good number of them live in grass-thatched houses that are poorly lit.
However, this is not the case for Annah Mutheu who is a witch doctor in Kenya's Machakos County.
Her home is estimated to be worth Sh40 million and she is not the typical witch doctor struggling to make ends meet because hers is a craft that pays bills well.
Mutheu says the Bible helps her a lot in healing her clients and that she never misses church on Sundays.
According to The Standard, she gets around 60 to 80 clients per day and charges Sh1000 'consultation fee.'
She has invested in real estate, public service vehicles among other ventures and has a fleet of cars added on to her property.

The class eight dropout says she inherited the trade from her parents and admits she became rich because of her juju business.
“Most people assume that witch doctors are poor and lead miserable lives. That is not the case. I am a woman of means and my juju business has made me rich,” the former student at Katwii Primary School confessed to The Nairobian.
The mother of three who prefers to be called, ‘the boss lady,’ revealed that she has invested heavily in her lavish house and looks, which in turn, have attracted more clients.
