NASA Claims Raila Odinga leading in Presidential Race

The National Super Alliance (NASA) has announced 2017 presidential results it claims have been sourced from the IEBC servers.

In a statement issued on Thursday by ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, the Alliance claimed that they had confidential information from a source at the IEBC pointing that flag bearer Raila Odinga was leading the presidential race.

According to NASA, the actual results in the IEBC servers indicate that Odinga was leading with 8,041,726 with President Uhuru Kenyatta following with 7,755,428.

Mudavadi stated that the Opposition held a meeting with the electoral body and issued a formal complaint detailing all the issues they were concerned with.

He further expressed disappointment with the handling of the elections accusing the IEBC of failing to address claims that the electoral system had been hacked.

Flanked by other NASA principals including Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka, Mudavadi issued the IEBC with three demands.

First, the Opposition wants the polls body to stop displaying of the unofficial results which have been trickling in from the various polling stations.

The NASA leaders also want the IEBC to allow political parties to download the forms 34A and 34B so that they can verify the results.

Finally, they have demanded that Odinga and Musyoka be immediately declared the President and the Deputy President-elect.
