Prison warders at the Kamiti Maximum Prison have been forced to open fire after inmates attempted to break out.
Two terror suspects allegedly tried to escape from the holding facility on Tuesday afternoon, causing prison guards to fire their weapons.
Security agencies are yet to confirm whether the attempt was contained and if any casualties have been reported.
