Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula's Bodyguard Barred From Entering Supreme Court

There was drama outside Supreme Court on Monday after Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula's bodyguard was denied entry into the premises.

The National Super Alliance principals including Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka and Senator Wetangula were making their way to the court when they were delayed at the main gate.

Police officers manning the premises barred Wetangula’s bodyguard from entering the chambers on claims that he was armed.

The officers proceeded to forcefully disarm the bodyguard and eject him from the premises.

Odinga, however, confronted the security agents demanding the gate be opened to let him and his team in.

As the NASA team was about to enter the premises, the officers once again attempted to disarm Wetangula’s aide.

The bodyguard was eventually escorted out of the court premises as other NASA leaders proceeded inside.

Earlier on, Odinga had caused a scene at the Supreme Court grounds after some of his security personnel were denied entry.

The Supreme Court grounds have been under strict security controls from Saturday when the pre-trial hearing of the NASA election petition kicked off.
