NTV news anchor Larry Madowo has warned Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino after the legislator mentioned NASA leader Raila Odinga in his oath.
Madowo stated on his Twitter account that Babu risked not being re-elected in the coming elections as it happened with former Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba.
In 2008 during the swearing in of MPs, Namwamba swore allegiance to Odinga, totally refusing to follow the provided script for the oath.

Owino caused drama at the National Assembly during his swearing-in after he added some characteristic flair to the written oath.
He ended his speech with ‘Tibim!’ the campaign term he helped popularize.
At first, he added the name of Odinga to the oath but was cut short by the Clerk of the Assembly who requested him to follow the provided script.
“I, Babu Owino, having been elected a Member of Parliament do swear in the name of the Almighty God that I would bear true faith and allegiance to the people of the Republic of Kenya and Raila Odinga," he stated.
The former University of Nairobi (UoN) student leader once again sparked laughter in the House after concluding the oath with Tibim, a word commonly used during the NASA campaigns.
Mr Owino was elected on an ODM ticket and is among a crop of new faces expected to light up the 12th parliament.
