Police Forced to Fire as Chaos Erupts During Supreme Court Ruling

There was chaos outside the Supreme Court on Wednesday morning, forcing police officers to fire teargas canisters to disperse crowds.

Supporters of both Jubilee and the National Super Alliance (NASA) had begun crowding outside the court with police trying to keep the chanting groups at bay.

This happened as the judges were reading a detailed judgement regarding the nullification of the August 8th Presidential results.

These protests come just a day after a group of Jubilee supporters demonstrated outside the Supreme Court demanding a recount of votes.

The group of individuals was protesting over Supreme Court's decision to cancel President Uhuru Kenyatta's win.

Armed with placards labelled; 'Recount the Votes', the protesters demanded a total recount of the votes instead of the repeat presidential election that has been set for October 17th.
