A two-year-old grandson of the late Nyeri Governor Nderitu Gachagua was today mid-morning mauled to death by six dogs at their home in Nyeri.
Confirming the incident, Nyeri Police disclosed that the boy died while receiving treatment.
Reports indicate that the dogs from their neighbourhood sneaked into Gachagua’s homestead through the fence and attacked the boy who was playing outside
The house help tried to fight off the dogs but they were too vicious for her.
The late Governor Gachagua died in February this year while undergoing treatment in London.
