Police officers were forced to fire teargas outside the IEBC headquarters in Nairobi after National Super Alliance (NASA) and Jubilee Party supporters charged at each other.
NASA supporters had arrived at the scene earlier calling for the resignation of IEBC officials among them CEO Ezra Chiloba.
On the other hand, Jubilee Party supporters are reported to have been ferried into the city to stage counter protests and disrupt the Opposition demos.

One person has since been arrested and another injured as police repulsed the protestors.

In the meantime, NASA leaders who had organised the protests are yet to move to the streets and join their supporters in the call to 'remove' IEBC officials from office.
