Matiang'i Exposes How NASA is Destroying the Country

Acting Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i has warned Kenyans against participating in the anti-IEBC protests organized by the National Super Alliance indicating that the move by the leaders is basically to sabotage the country economically.

Through his twitter account, the Education CS noted that NASA leaders are not exercising their rights as is required by the constitution but instead want to destroy the country.

In another tweet, he indicated that the country is democratic with many avenues of expressing views which should not necessarily be demonstrations.

His comments were also expressed by Jubilee leaders who were campaigning for Uhuru Kenyatta in Murang'a County.

The leaders who included MPs Ndindi Nyoro, Peter Kimari, Mary Waithera, Joseph Nduati and senator Irungu Kang'ata said the country is suffering economically due to the effects of the protests.

They said that the protests which have now turned into the destruction of individual businesses and property would worsen the economy.

Speaking in Kiharu constituency, the legislatures said Kenyans might suffer for a long time from the adverse effects of the demonstrations.

"Raila went to the Supreme court to force a repeat of the elections that have cost the country billions and is now further aggravating the situation by asking his supporters to take to the streets," Kimari said.

Meanwhile, NASA leaders have vowed to continue with the planned protests every Monday, Wednesday, Friday this coming week until the electoral commission is reformed.
