Kajiado West Member of Parliament (MP) George Sunkuyia's son died on Tuesday night.
Risa Sunkuyi, the firstborn son of the MP, died from heart complications.
Sunkuyi, who was a form three student passed away at Karen Hospital in Nairobi while undergoing treatment.
Jeremiah Sunkuyia, the MP's younger brother, confirmed the tragedy, indicating that the deceased had been admitted at the hospital last Thursday.

MP Sunkuyia was the former Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Keekonyokie ward.
He was also the Deputy Speaker of the Kajiado County Assembly.
The Jubilee politician trounced former MP Moses Ole Sakuuda during the August election.
Kajiado leaders led by Governor Joseph Ole Lenku have sent their condolences to the entire MPs family members for the loss.
