It’s one thing when Kenyan TV show hosts and online commenters make fun of Kenyan moral policeman Ezekiel Mutua, but it becomes something completely different when an American comedian mocks him.
The Kenya Film Classification Board boss was ridiculed by popular comedian Trevor Noah for his idea of separating two male lions who were spotted in an intimate embrace in Kenya.
On Thursday night, Mr Noah, who hosts a popular daily show, made fun of Mutua for suggesting that the lions learned from watching a gay couple at the popular Masai Mara reserve.

The audience laughed out loud on the KFCB boss' suggestion that the animals be put through counseling.
Mr Noah, who hosts The Daily Show, accused the CEO of having a bad case of "homophobia".
“He thinks that the lions learned this from gay people, this is either homophobia on another level or maybe he’s just jealous,” Mr Noah joked.
Mr Mutua, who the BBC christened as our censor-in-chief, suggested that the two lions be subjected to scientific research to determine how they acquired the homosexual behavior.
The KFCB chief recently banned an American Disney cartoon, Andy Mack, which he termed as bizarre because one of the characters was gay.

Mutua has been campaigning against depictions of homosexuality since his appointment in 2015.
