National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga on Friday dared President Uhuru Kenyatta to shoot him if he was the problem and not his supporters.
Speaking during a fundraiser at Laico Regency hotel, the opposition leader condemned the killing of young people by police during the NASA protests.
"If Raila is the problem, arrest him. Take him to prison, take him to jail. And if you want to shoot, shoot Raila!
But don't kill people with young families... Children are going to grow without fathers, mothers because you have killed their parents at this age," the NASA principal was quoted by the Star.

He added that on Tuesday during President Kenyatta's inauguration, he would lead a memorial for those killed.
“It will be crazy for any government to arrange for any ceremony when the country is mourning. There should be no celebration at all,” Mr Odinga stated.
According to the Daily Nation, the Former Prime Minister stated that: “As they will be celebrating, we will be holding a major memorial service at Jacaranda in Embakasi to pray with families of those killed.
In attendance were fellow NASA principals Musalia Mudavadi and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula as well as 40 NASA legislatures.
On his part, Mr Mudavadi stated: “They told us the killings were as a result of mob justice, but everyone saw that police turned into a mob, killing people and throwing stones at motorist. The question is, when will they be arrested because they are known to Kenyans?”
Siaya Senator James Orengo assured that they would seek justice for all the victims.

“It will be taken to ICC because these killings have been committed against people fighting for their political cause well within the law. What is interesting is that the
international community represented by their envoys here are so quiet,” he was quoted by the Nation.
In the fundraiser, Raila donated Sh1 million, while Mr Mudavadi and Mr Wetang’ula gave Sh100,000 each to cover the burial costs of all the NASA supporters killed between November 17 and 21.
