Kalonzo Musyoka's New Update From Germany

Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, who has been in Germany, on Thursday shared recent photos through the National Super Alliance (NASA) official communication channels.

Mr Musyoka was pictured in the company of his son Kennedy Musyoka and Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jr.

The three shared lunch together and were later pictured taking a stroll away from the restaurant they had eaten at. Here are the photos.

On his Facebook account, Kalonzo updated his followers on the visit posting: "Thank you Senator Mutula Kilonzo for checking on me. God Bless You and God Bless Kenya."

The NASA leader has been in Germany for months as his ailing wife, Mama Pauline Kalonzo receives treatment for a condition that is yet to be made known publicly.

The privacy has led many to speculate that the politician's wife had passed on. The malicious rumour circulated on social media platforms led Mr Musyoka to break his silence, clarifying that his wife is still undergoing specialised treatment.

Kalonzo has also sent messages to supporters from Germany, most recently after the Opposition declared him the recognised deputy President of the Republic of Kenya.

NASA leaders have also been paying occasional visits to Germany to offer support to their comrade during the difficult period.

Kennedy Musyoka was on Thursday unveiled as one of the nominees to the East Africa Legislative Assembly (EALA), an appointment that has been the subject of contention.

The list presented by National Assembly Minority Leader John Mbadi and Senate Minority leader Moses Wetangula also featured Raila Odinga's elder brother Oburu Odinga.

Jubilee party presented a list of 15 nominees to be considered for the positions many of them loyalists who lost during the August 8 election.

Parliament will now review the lists and pick five representatives from the ruling party and four from the Opposition.
