Governor Mike Sonko Makes Fun of His English

Nairobi County Governor Mike Sonko on Thursday excited Kenyans on social media after making fun of his own English.

Sonko launched an attack on his spoken English when he took to Facebook and shared an old video of Uganda’s former President Idi Amin who couldn’t converse properly.

The video shows Amin struggling to construct English sentences in vain. The Ugandan President massacred the Queen’s language as he delivered his address to doctors and nurses.

He sensationally claimed that the late Amin used to speak better English compared to him and his Kiambu counterpart Ferdinand Waititu.

''This Guy used to speak good English than Governors Sonko and Waititu,'' Sonko captioned the video.

The two governors have numerously been publicly trolled with a section of Kenyans accusing them of speaking broken English.

However, the recent change of status of Mr Sonko has seen him perfect his English and image all together especially after winning the gubernatorial race

Sonko attracted the attention of his social media followers who couldn’t hold their excitement after seeing the Governor troll his language.

Recently, Waititu was a topic of discussion after his photo with foreign dignitaries circulated online with Kenyans claiming he was using sign language since he couldn't communicate verbally.
