Joho Loses Rap Battle to Young Boy [VIDEO]

Mombasa County Governor Ali Hassan Joho lost a rap battle with a young boy he had challenged to freestyle.

Joho invited the young boy on stage during the launch of the Youth Must Change initiative at Pirates Beach in Mombasa and dared him to match his rapping skills.

However, the young man took the great opportunity to showcase his talent and had the crowd cheering him on.

He delivered punch after punch towards the governor with the best delivery of lyrics, and the crowd responded to his skill.

Governor Joho threw in the towel and pleaded with his Kilifi counterpart Amason Kingi to take on the young lyrist.

“Can I bring on Governor Kingi to challenge the young man because he is making me sweat, I can not win against him,” Joho stated.

However, Governor Kingi withdrew from the heated battle admitting to the crowd which was cheering him on that he could not rap.

Joho thanked the young man and further urged him to work hard in school and pursue his music during his free time.

The initiative aims to educate the youth on the various opportunities presented by the County and help them exploit the Access to Government Procurement Opportunities (AGPO).

Joho further stated that the County Government of Mombasa would double the budget allocated to Revolving Fund to enable more youth to capitalize on entrepreneurial ventures.
