Kenyans on Sunday sent National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga thousands of birthday wishes for his 73rd birthday.
The former Prime Minister acknowledged the overwhelming messages from people across the country who hailed him for his contribution to Kenya and wished him long life.
He was in Kakamega County for a meeting of the People's Assembly, where he promised supporters that plans to have him sworn in as the People's President were still on course.
A group known as 'Daughters of Raila' led by Busia Woman Representative Florence Mutua presented him with a cake to celebrate the occasion.

He was also handed a card signed by delegates.
In addition, the former Premier was gifted with a copy of the Bible.
The gift was presented to him by Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala.
Those present at the event asked him to use the Bible during his inauguration.
Online, Kenyans sent heartwarming, funny and interesting messages to the NASA leader.
Many simply wished him a Happy Birthday while others demanded he take the oath of office.
