Boni Khalwale Solves Class 6 Maths Question and Kenyans React

Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale on Tuesday excited Kenyans online with his arithmetic skills after solving a class six-level trigonometric question.

Through his social media, the vocal National Super Alliance (NASA) leader challenged himself to solve for x and even displayed his answer.

"My finding is that, x = 120 degrees. Retweet if u think I'm right, or give us the correct answer if think that I'm wrong," he tweeted on Tuesday.

Some Kenyans online were impressed with his arithmetic skills, complementing the former legislator for his skills.

One user wrote: "Correct Boni! Am a high school Maths teacher and an expert in the field."

Another user mocked Dr Khalwale, stating that he was idle to engage in primary level mathematics while another challenged him with a more complex query.

"Sasa wewe daktari hizi swali za class 5, kuanga serious. Jibu hii: (which loosely translates to Seriously Doctor leave these questions for primary school and answer this one)

"Find the derivative if it exists: f′(3π/2) where f(x) = (sin x+1)^x," Dr Khalwale was challenged.

Earlier in the month, Khalwale urged the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC) to launch investigations into failed projects by Former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero and Machakos county boss Alfred Mutua.

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, the National Super Alliance (NASA) leader revealed that the Uhuru Highway and Mombasa Road beautification projects were fronts for corruption by the duo.

"Alfred Mutua who was the Government spokesman collected flowers and gravel to beautify the road and Dr Kidero spent Sh40 Million to put the Kidero grass which is now gone," he disclosed.
