The Nation Media Group (NMG) has released CCTV footage of a man who allegedly booked a funeral notice of businessman Jimmy Wanjigi.
According to NMG, 'the suspect is believed to be in his mid-thirties, of brown complexion, plump, about 5 foot 10, with a full beard and short hair.'
It is also reported that he booked the obituary under the name Jared.

The obituary appeared in Wednesday's newspaper and raised alarm although the name used was James Richard Wanjagi.
NMG quickly reached out to Wanjigi's family denouncing the notice stating that it was against their editorial policy and regretted the anguish the family went through.
"Nation Media Group does not condone such publication, which clearly goes against our editorial policy.
"We have taken immediate action against those responsible for the placement of the announcement, including reporting the matter to the police for further investigations," the statement read.
According to the death announcement image, the person named died on January 30 and was to be buried on Tuesday 6.
The matter was reported at DCI, Central Police Station under OB Number 31/7/2/18.
NMG also appealed to the general public who may have any information on the accused to contact them or report the matter to the nearest police station.
