Alfred Mutua Makes 5 Critical Points After Court Win

After thanking his supporters following his win in the election petition filed against him, Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has divulged his intention to join the 2022 race for the Presidency after serving two terms in the gubernatorial capacity.

"Today is a declaration that the journey to Statehouse is on and in 2022, I will vie and by God's Grace win to become the 5th President of the Republic of Kenya," Mutua revealed to the jubilant supporters.

The Governor declared that he was prepared and had the capacity to win the Presidency adding that given the opportunity to serve as the Head of State, his leadership would be non-tribal, clean, visionary, creative and energetic.

Secondly, Mutua made it clear that the upholding of his win by the court marked the end of the political activity. In effect, he extended an olive branch to the petitioner and his competitor in the last election, Wavinya Ndeti.

"Hon. Wavinya Ndeti, I welcome you to come we work together. Yaliyopita si ndwele. Tugange yajayo (The past is gone. Let us forge ahead)." Mutua uttered to the amusement of his followers.

Thirdly, Mutua outlined the issues that should be prioritized going forward including creating employment for the youth, water supply and construction of roads hence improving the quality of life for the citizens.

"Let us support elected leaders and demand from them creation of wealth and services." Mutua added as he rallied for support.

In his fourth point, Mutua committed to offer hope to Kenyans by leading the way to development. In his words, Mutua said that the new movement would show the possibility of being at par with the developed countries through strategic management.

"I will embark on a new movement for Kenya to provide hope and to show Kenyans that we can, in this lifetime, be like our friends in the developed world," the Governor noted.

Lastly, Mutua tabled his intention to foster peace and unity through his leadership. He referred to his character as an action-oriented man that the youth can count on.

"Tumeenjoiwa ya kutosha (We the youth have been taken for granted for too long). As one of you, I will fight for you as I lead to bring you hope and change to your lives and those of our beautiful mothers and heroic fathers. Do not give up. There is hope. This is our time na Inawezekana na Itawezekana (It is possible. It will be done.)," he assured his supporters.
