Uhuru Appoints Former KU Vice-Chancellor to Judiciary

President Uhuru Kenyatta has on Tuesday nominated Prof Olive Mugenda to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).

Mugenda stepped down as the Vice-Chancellor of KU in April 2016, and at the end of her term called on those who would take over to maintain her legacy.

During her tenure, Prof Mugenda was applauded for raising the Kenyatta University to world-class status due to the vast development witnessed.

Prof Mugenda served at the university for ten years before retiring from management.
