Thirdway Party Leader Ekuru Aukot on Tuesday denied claims that he was joining Kalonzo Musyoka's new party One Kenya Movement (OKM).
Speaking exclusively to Kenyans.co.ke, the former presidential candidate stated that Kalonzo's motive to rebrand the Wiper party was for selfish reasons, not to unite the country as claimed.
"The trend we have seen is they want to lead Kenya but put their tribes first. We do not agree with their ideology and we don't want to associate with tribal aligned issues.
"No, we would rather be the lone wolf in the jungle fighting to genuinely bring all the counties together," he explained.

Dr Aukot added that he would agree to work with other parties only when the issues to be dealt with were development oriented.
"We are the only party to have a 14-point agenda and to have carried out activities to benefit the people.
"The other parties have avoided their responsibilities and only focussing on matters that benefit them. The only time they are in agreement is about their allowances," he told Kenyans.co.ke on the phone.
The Thirway party leader disclosed that they were gearing up to launch their drive to collect signatures to have the number of legislators reduced this week.
"Our approach is using an ICT based form where people will access the form online - on their computer or phone. We will use physical forms and approach Members of County Assembly to help gather the signatures," he stated.
The push, he explained, would strengthen devolution and save the country Ksh25 Billion which could be used in other development projects.
