NASA Principal Raila Odinga Exposes Moses Wetangula's Mistakes

Opposition leader Raila Odinga released a statement through his spokesman Dennis Onyango and exposed Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula's mistakes.

In the statement released on Tuesday evening, Onyango noted that Wetangula had been rejected by Senators from all the NASA parties, not only ODM who accused him of a number of failings.

The statement read: "Wetangula knows the facts and they are as follows: he was rejected by Senators from all the NASA parties, not only ODM."

It added: "The Senators accused Wetang'ula, in his presence, of being aloof, selfish, arrogant and having the tendency to impose decisions on them under the pretext that they were directives from the Summit, which often was not the case."

In the statement, Onyango noted that problems between NASA Senators and Wetangula came out clearly during a meeting called by Raila to broker understanding.

The statement clarified remarks by Wetangula where he accused the opposition leader of having a hand in his ouster from the Senate.

"Raila did all he could to save Wetangula’s minority leadership, including instructing the coalition’s CEO Norman Magaya to write to the Senate to retain Wetang'ula as Minority leader," read part of the statement.

"The persistent efforts by Wetang'ula to avoid the facts, and blame his problems on Raila, therefore point to a personal vendetta and a refusal to face and deal with the truth," the statement added.

Wetangula declared that he has parted ways with Odinga, accusing the ODM leader of turning his back on him during his hour of need.

“I don’t have any bitterness against Raila but all I’m telling him is that my journey with him has now come to an end. I now have my own journey that I will walk with my own people with a view to taking this country forward,” he stated.
