Kenyans Take Part in Julius Malema Challenge

South African MP and the leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters, Julius Malema on Saturday gave a tribute during Winnie Mandela's funeral service.

He called out leaders in government for their hypocrisy in how they betrayed Winnie Mandela.

"Some of those who sold you out to the regime are here. What's funny mama is that they are crying the loudest more than all of us who cared for you," he proclaimed amid cheers from the crowd.

Kenyans online took the #JuliusMalemaChallenge to air out their frustrations on issues they had noticed going on.

"Mama, some of those people shaming our kids and calling them names on #IfikieWazazi are here with us... We see what they do on Instagram and Snapchat. Life is so unfair mama. I am waiting for a signal on how we should treat them mama!" one user wrote.

Another quipped: "They are here mama. Those slayqueens that borrow clothes. Those that want men to buy them things they can't afford themselves!! Please give us a sign."

Other comments signalled on the politcal scene in the country with one conveying:  "Mama there is a politician in Kenya whose appetite for public resources is insatiable we are waiting for ur sign mama tell us how to treat him."

"Even those who perpetuate electoral injustices in Africa in the name of Election Observership are here Mama. Please give us a signal of what we should do with them," another comment read.

Another stated: "Even those that promised to take us to Cannan are here mama. They went for the handshake at Harambee house. We are waiting for the signal, on how to treat them."
