Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho on Thursday attended Tanzanian Bongo sensation Alikiba's wedding to his Kenyan fiance Amina Khalef.
Kenyans.co.ke exclusively got a hold of photos of the initial event that is taking place at Masjid Umullkulthum Mosque in Mombasa.
The ceremony, which is referred to as the Nikkah, is where Ali Kiba announces his willingness to marry Amina in front of her community.

The Nikkah is only attended by the men at the Mosque.
However, local journalists were not allowed to film inside the mosque.
After the Nikkah, Ali Kiba is set to have another ceremony in Nyali Mombasa and thereafter a reception at the Diamond Jubilee Hall.
The County boss has always enjoyed a close relationship with the Tanzania celebrity who has always been celebrated in Kenya.
Among the high profile personalities set to attend the wedding also include former Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete and other political and entertainment bigwigs.
According to a source who spoke to the Star, the talented singer is alleged to have moved Amina's family to a spacious and more comfortable house as they have been receiving many guests in preparation of their big day.
On Thursday, details of the invite emerged on social media platforms noting that children will not be allowed at the ceremony.
"The family of the late Khalef Hemed Salim and Asma Said Abeid, request the honour of your presence for the wedding reception of their daughter, Amina Kalef Ahmed Salim, on Thursday 19 April 2018, at Diamond Hall at 7:30 pm. Strictly no children allowed," read the invite.
