Girl Alleging to Be Uhuru's Daughter Released

Tamara Risheel, the girl who was arrested for claiming to be the daughter of President Uhuru Kenyatta, has been released.

Risheel was locked up at the Kilimani Police Station for three days but Starehe MP Charles Njagua (Jaguar) came to her rescue on Monday, alongside comedian Chipukeezy and radio host Willy M Tuva.

According to Jaguar, the girl had no ill-intention and has a song dedicated to the President.

Comedian Jalang'o confirmed the same on one of his social media pages saying Risheel had been a guest of the state but the Starehe MP came to her rescue.

"Tamara kumbe hakupelekwa statehouse but alikuwa guest of state pale Kilimani police!

"Jaguaree @jaguarkenyandio amemtoa after 3 days! Amesema yeye ni msanii na ako na wimbo ya President.....weee! Sasa lazima hii wimbo #ifikierais."

The woman grabbed headlines last week when she boldly took to the streets holding a placard written: "Meet Tamara Risheel, unknown President Uhuru Kenyatta's daughter. My big dream is to meet my daddy in person for the first time. I love my daddy."

Social media users were quick to make fun out of the situation under the #IfikieUhuru tagline which is a variation of the #IfikieWazazi slogan.

#IfikieWazazi was a social media call urging parents to take responsibility and charge over their children after photos of teenagers taking indecent pictures in Nairobi emerged.
