A security breach at the popular Two Rivers Mall in Ruaka, Kiambu has caused a public outcry after a car parked at the mall was broken into and vandalized.
The owner of the car who is identified as Laura allegedly left the car at the mall's parking lot for about two hours as she conducted her errands.
On returning to the parking lot, she found her valuables including a laptop and clothes stolen from the car.

Reports doing rounds on social media indicate that the management at the mall could not offer the victim much assistance.
This is because the car was parked at a "blind-spot" - a section beyond the CCTV camera's scope of surveillance hence the intrusion was not recorded.
Two Rivers is a big mall and such shameful thing should never happen #ShameOnTwoRivers

the management allows customers to park in insecure parts of the lort, they get robbed then they are told 'you parked in the wrong place'— KIPTANUI (@enock_kiptanui) May 30, 2018
Security guards should have ensured that their customer's belongings were safe. #ShameOnTwoRivers pic.twitter.com/XDnQBwednK

Someone has lost valuables in a mall then you are told you parked in an area with no cctv coverage! How are they supposed to know? pic.twitter.com/WWi24A1qpm— KIPTANUI (@enock_kiptanui) May 30, 2018

Laptop gone
Clothes gone
& other Valuables... Who should we blame? She has tried to report the matter to the management but the management is saying she parked the car where the CCTV camera could not cover! #ShameOnTwoRivers @ConsumersKenya— Brenny (@cheptwan) May 30, 2018
