Netizens have raised questions after a photo of Deputy President William Ruto was suspected of allegedly being stage-managed.
The photo shows the DP buying roasted maize from a roadside vendor in the company of other leaders and his security.
However, the alleged vendor became suspect after hawk-eyed netizens noted what looks like a police walkie-talkie protruding from his pockets.

Besides, social media users questioned the sellers' dress code indicating that it greatly differed from the typical appearance of roast-maize vendors in the country.
"As a photographer, I want to assume that this guy is a maize roaster, okay? Two, I am in doubt on how he's clad, you have seen maize roasters around and their dress code.
"Three, he's roasting very few maize only designed for PR photography. Four, he forgot to hide the antenna of his walkie-talkie," Standard Digital Photojournalist Denish Ochieng noted.
Suspecting the maize dealer to a member of Ruto's security detail, the journalist indicated: "Let everyone do their work without quacks jumping into other people's professions."
Others claimed that the supposed maize vendor had been previously pictured in Ruto's entourage as part of his security detail.
Ruto has been known to associate with the wretched of the earth, identifying himself as a "hustler".
His rise from a chicken vendor to the second highest office in the land has seen him maintain touch with the ordinary citizens frequently consuming food from roadside kiosks during his tours.
The sensitive security of dignitaries often sees their bodyguards disguise in order to blend in with the crowd including wearing clothes that match the occasion.
