Shortly after Gor Mahia striker Meddie Kagere signed with Tanzania's Simba FC, details emerged indicating that members of Gor Mahia FC are planning a go-slow.

According to Goal.com, the players are disgruntled over delayed pay and were said to be planning to take industrial action to ensure their dues are paid.

"We are not happy with what is going on at the club, we feel less appreciated by the management because nothing has been done to address our grievances. We won the Super Cup, we are in the Group stages in the Confederation Cup and we have been denied money.

"The motivation is low as we speak, and it is high time something is done. No one can blame Meddie Kagere, for leaving, it is all because of money. Other teams are giving out better packages while Gor Mahia is not," Goal.com quoted a source.
