Nyandarua First Lady’s Underwear Donation Causes Uproar

A section of Kenyans have been outraged following a donation of over-sized underwear to school children by Nyandarua First Lady Anne Kimemia.

She became the subject of ridicule after a photo of her donation of underwear to primary schools pupils was shared online.

The donation was made to Munyeki Primary pupils in her efforts to support the girl child.

Netizens inquired why the first lady had asked the school kids to pose for a photo while holding the underwear.

The first lady is seen on the third row smiling happily.

Mrs Kimemia faced sharp criticism and was accused of humiliating the needy children.

In the photos, the boys look excited as they held the donation above their heads.

Some Kenyans asked why she would post such photos indicating that when one does ‘good’ they should not to boast on social media.

A twitter user, Karan’ja Karash wrote that only those who went to school without underwear could appreciate the gesture.

“Some politicians will pretend like they want to help when all they want is publicity,” Generali Gathike noted.
