Comedian Sleepy David has been unveiled as Felix Odiwuor AKA Jalang'o's replacement on Hot 96.
Jalang’o, was the latest media personality to join Milele FM where he will link up with former colleagues, former head of Citizen Radio Joyce Gituro and presenters Francis Luchivya and Wilbroda, real name Jacky Nyaminde.
Sleepy ventured into mobile games to entertain his fans when he launched “Keep Sleepy Awake”, where fans get to see some of his comic twists.
He was the first entertainer in Kenya to launch a mobile game and his move to Hot 96 will be a game changer for him and his career.

It was a big hit for Royal Media Services as the bromance between Jalang’o and veteran journalist Jeff Koinange had made JeffAndJalasOnHot96 one of the most popular breakfast radio shows.
Jalang’o started his radio career at Kiss 100 before he moved to Radio Maisha.
His defection to Milele FM was the first big hiring under MediaMax Network Ltd Editor-in-Chief Peter Opondo, a former RMS insider, who now appears keen at raiding his former employer in a bid to turn around the fortunes of the media house.
In April last year, the radio sensation quit Standard Media Group’s Radio Maisha in a decision that did not go well with his largely Swahili listener fanbase.
He left Maisha Asubuhi presenter Alex Mwakideu struggling to pair up with Nick Odhiambo who could not perfectly fit into the Swahili audiences.

The breakfast program was quite popular and had an impressive online trail under the #AlexNaJalas banner.
