Miguna Miguna, David Ndii Make Startling Declaration

Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has reached out to economist David Ndii seeking to work with him after the latter indicated that he had ditched ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Responding to a query by a tweep by the name Abraham Kiprono who wanted to know whether Ndii was included in the handshake, the economist declared: "I have moved on".

"I volunteered for politics to defend the constitution and democracy, not to become a handmaiden to the self-preservation of a morally and intellectually bankrupt political class," Ndii stated.

"The spirit of the handshake is taking over our political conversation. Raila had people of high profile in his camp. Ndii was among them.

"A man with much knowledge in economics. He was Raila's economic advisor, I don't know whether he was included in handshake deal," Kiprono had posed.

Ndii's message saw Miguna join in the debate welcoming the economist's latest action, "This is refreshing, Dr Ndii, I trust that you still recall the discussions we had with the "Final Stand Think Tank" in my house and at the Mayfair Hotel over a period of weeks after August 8, 2017.

"(Ndii) Return to comrades. Don't "move on." Let's hasten the pace of the revolution. Viva!," Miguna declared.

Ndii, a close associate of Raila and an ardent NASA supporter, has been a tough critic of the Jubilee regime on a variety of issues including the hefty external borrowing.

For instance, the economist has remained sceptical about the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) which is considered among President Uhuru Kenyatta's legacy projects.

On the other hand, Miguna has criticised the Jubilee government over rampant corruption, alleged electoral malpractice and social injustices including his forceful deportation to Canada.
