Rima Patel, the woman accused of writing a racist email while acting on behalf of Chandarana Foodplus Supermarkets was on Monday reported missing.
Company representatives who appeared before the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) reported that they had been unable to trace her since the letter she wrote caused public outrage.
Director of Operations Hanif Rajan told the commission that Patel absconded duty on July 27, 2018, and had not been reachable since.
He added that she is an Indian national who had only acquired a three-month work visa at the time of her placement at the supermarket chain.

The director told NCIC boss Francis Ole Kaparo and his team that the woman's contract was to be terminated on August 6, 2018.
NCIC had summoned Ms Patel to appear before the committee on Monday after she snubbed the summons on August 4, 2018.
"We had confirmation, the latest being yesterday through email from two of her colleagues. We really wanted to hear her story before taking any action against her," Chairperson Ole Kaparo commented after the first failed meeting.
NCIC head of complaints and legal affairs Kyalo Mwengi conveyed that the commission had launched investigations into Patel's whereabouts and would ensure she is found.
The NCIC official added that the department of immigration had been alerted to be on the lookout for the woman and not allow her to leave the country.
Mr Hanif further pledged that his company is ready to cooperate with investigators on the matter.
