Betty Kyallo Tries Out Indoor Skydiving in Dubai

Days after quitting her job at KTN News, popular TV anchor Betty Kyallo tried out a daring movie stunt in Dubai.

The former KTN journalist sent out the video as she sampled out an indoor skydiving experience in the United Arab Emirates.

Following the thrilling experience at the iFly Indoor Skydiving facility, Betty exclaimed: "No for real I can fly. Addict to the adrenaline rush and a rebel even to gravity!"

"Just one of the cool things that happened this weekend. Rebel to gravity, addict to the adrenaline rush. Loved it!" Betty stated.

Details from the facility's website indicate that it costs roughly Ksh. 6,000 for the standard first-time flyers and Ksh. 10,000 for the ultimate package.

This standard package in the indoor skydiving facility includes two flights (one minute each) as well as a training session, the use of all flight gear, and one on one personal assistance from an instructor.

The indoor skydiving experience uses a wind tunnel to give flyers the physical sensation of flight by recreating a complete skydiving experience.

"Thank you for all the messages of appreciation. I’m really humbled. It was one emotional goodbye. Ntawamiss but bado tuko (I will miss you. But we are still around)."

The KTN News presenter broke down on live TV as she hosted the final edition of her new show Friday Briefing.

The emotion started showing on the popular anchor's face as she finished speaking to Willis the Wordmaster who runs the Mind Your Language segment.

Willis had to start comforting her as Betty began stuttering while noting that she had been at the station for eight years.

Soon after, the crew behind her show as well as other staff from Standard Media Group (SMG) approached her on camera to say goodbye.

Tears were streaming down her face by this point and it went on for a while during the event where she was also presented with flowers, a cake to mark the occasion, a framed drawing of herself and she even popped a bottle of champagne.
