Millie Odhiambo Ridicules Ekuru Aukot on Live TV [VIDEO]

Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo on Tuesday evening appeared on NTV's Sidebar show where she faced off against Thirdway Alliance party leader Ekuru Aukot.

The session, which was meant to discuss the ongoings before and after the chaotic vote in parliament on the Finance Bill 2018, had some comical moments owing to the two leaders' personalities.

Dr Aukot has maintained that he is the official opposition leader, a claim which did not sit well with the ODM legislator.

During the panel discussion hosted by Ken Mijungu, Millie stated, "It is hard for me to respond to Dr. Aukot because what is Thirdway Alliance? We can't have just everyone jumping around."

She further ridiculed Dr Aukot adding, "For you to qualify to be in the opposition, you need to have at least one Member of Parliament, otherwise, you are in the civil society."

Her comments elicited mixed reactions from a section of Kenyans online with one noting, "Millie Odhiambo is becoming infantile. If this is the kind of representation the people of Suba North have, I pity them"

"Millie...You represent Kenyans! We are not interested in your 'big man' nonsense. Any political party or ordinary Kenyan has the right to criticise and debate on kenyan matter. Do you pass the bills only for I'm and Jubilee?

"Next time choose the right people to come to your show, Millie is not one of them, she is cheap a and very malicious to the other panellists, I pity the people of Mbita for having elected such a person,

Others expressed their amusement on the comment siding with the MP on the matter.

"Hard reckless tackle but thé réf waves play on hehehee," one netizen noted.

In agreement, another wrote, "We should have ten ladies like Millie Odhiamboo. I consider Thirdway Alliance as a mere Community-Based Organization."
