Kanze Dena Hosts Thanksgiving Party

State House spokesperson and Presidential Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU) boss Kanze Dena threw a thanksgiving party.

The party came after her appointment to State House as the deputy spokesperson in June.

Photos shared across social media showed that the party was attended by Kanze's close friends and family.

Kanze, a former Citizen TV Swahili news anchor resigned from the media house in June to take over her new job.

She was later promoted to State House Spokesperson and head of PSCU after the exit of Manoah Esipisu.

Esipisu was appointed Kenya's High Commissioner to the United Kingdom marking the end of his long tenure at State House.

A team of 45 personnel, comprising of journalists and former politicians, was officially installed on Wednesday to work in State House alongside Kanze on President Uhuru Kenyatta's legacy projects.

The team engaged in an induction process at the Kenya School of Government as they picked up their roles at the Presidential Delivery Unit (PDU), working closely with the State House Spokesperson's office.

The Chief of Staff at the Office of the President, Nzioka Waita, stated that the team will also work alongside various state departments from inception.

"It’s a delivery team whose main purpose is to track and report on the progress of the Administration’s key projects and programs as well as coordinate dissemination of public information on the status of those key projects," Nzioka indicated.
