Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has revealed how President Uhuru Kenyatta and ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi are outwitting other leaders.
According to the lawyer, Uhuru and Mudavadi are the only two people in present day Kenya who are playing smart politics.
In Ahmednasir's view, both the President and the ANC leader "have their political destiny in their hands".
"The rest are reacting to or guessing what their opponents are doing or are likely to do. Some are silently wondering. Others are loud," Ahmednasir stated.
His sentiments came a day after Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka indicated that he is still in the 2022 presidential race.
Speaking on Saturday in Wundanyi, Taita Taveta County during a thanksgiving ceremony for MP Danson Mwashako, Kalonzo stated, "The journey to Canaan is still there."
"My friend Raila said they reached River Jordan and saw crocodiles. Recently, Mr Ruto said that nowhere in the Bible does it say there are crocodiles in River Jordan," he added.
Kalonzo further indicated that his party recognises the leadership of President Kenyatta and he will continue working with the government to transform the country.
Regarding the war on corruption, the Wiper Party boss said he fully supports the president’s resolve to deliver the country against the vice which has robbed Kenyans of development.
"I told President Kenyatta that if he blinks now, he cannot talk of a legacy.
"Nobody should be spared. Nobody should be above the law," Kalonzo concluded.
