Kenyan singer, actress and Homeboyz radio presenter Patricia Kihoro on Friday announced that she has landed a deal that will see her host a TV program segment on KTN News.
The contemporary African music lover who runs the Sunday night Homeboyz Radio show dubbed Afro-Central will be appearing on KTN News as part of the Friday Briefing team.
Apparently, the presenter had been in the dark about the offer until Friday when she was invited to the station, thinking she'll be in for a quick interview.
She has been paired up with Victor Mandala for the brand new section on Friday briefing where they will be engaging viewers on Masoko Shopping festival with the program expected to run till early 2019.
"Last night, I got casually dressed, jumped on a bodaboda and headed to KTN Kenya for what I thought would be a quick, ten-minute interview.
"Yoh! Turns out MC Victor and I will be hosting a small, brand new segment every Friday on The Friday Briefing," she announced on her social media pages.
Victor is corporate MC who came into the limelight after performing a Safaricom gig with Jalang'o early this year.
Friday Briefing, run by youngsters Jesse Rodgers and Ashley Mazuri has been striving to grow its ratings after Betty Kyalo's exit.
The show also has a language clinic segment with Willis Ochieng, that has been mirrored by Citizen TV's Swahili version that is dubbed Longalonga.
