Renowned businessman Jimi Wanjigi, on Friday, presented Ida Odinga with gifts during a breakfast meeting at Opoda Farm in Bondo, where President Uhuru Kenyatta was being hosted by African Union envoy, Raila Odinga.
The billionaire businessman, who is a close ally of Odinga was among other few leaders who were present at the Farm, including Embakasi East MP, Babu Owino and South Africa's Deputy President, David Mabuza.
It is reported that Wanjigi midwifed the formation of the Jubilee alliance in 2013, that united President Kenyatta and his deputy, William Ruto.
Furthermore, reports also claim that he was the mobilizer for funds and mastermind behind the construction of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR).
He, however, allegedly fell out with the president over a disagreement about a Kshs327 billion contract involving the SGR.
Earlier in the morning, Raila shared photos receiving Uhuru for the Breakfast in his home,
"Mama @IdaOdinga and I are pleased to host President @UKenyatta and other distinguished guests for breakfast at our home in Bondo this morning," he tweeted.
The two leaders also attended a graduation at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University, where they were awarded a Honorary Degree for their March 9 handshake.
Majority of Kenyans have hailed Uhuru and Raila as statesmen for putting aside their differences and agreeing to work together for the sake of unity.
President Kenyatta is also expected to visit the grave of the first Vice President, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, where he last visited when he was the MP for Gatundu.
The deputy president was however, missing in the meeting as he attended a graduation at Kisii University.
