Kalonzo Musyoka Renounces Deal With President Uhuru

Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has renounced his deal with President Uhuru Kenyatta by claiming that nothing has been agreed on between the two.

He was speaking on Sunday at Isinya in Kajiado East during the thanksgiving ceremony of Wiper party official Joshua Olouwasa.

Kalonzo further stated that he did not meet President Kenyatta or decide to work with him with pre-conditions.

I do not have any deal with President Uhuru Kenyatta, I am on the negotiating table, whatever it is we will table it there,” stated the former Vice President.

Musyoka is currently enjoying his new found relationship with Uhuru after appointment as the new head of the Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission (JMEC) on peace in South Sudan.

He added that he embraced the handshake to further and deepen the unity and cohesion of the nation after a sharply divisive political season.

After the handshake, I decided not to be left behind, we joined in the negotiating table to bring Kenyans together, kill tribalism and build bridges to enable even a Maasai to rise to the Presidency,” explained Musyoka.

Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana, who threatens Kalonzo’s influence in the region, had castigated the new role the wiper leader was given.

He, at some point, claimed that the NASA co-principal had been reduced to a messenger for President Kenyatta.

"Yuyu mutongoi wa andu atwika mundu wa mukono, namo andu ala ma ivalo mamutumiemesani ya nthi makatwika kyau? (When a leader of the people becomes an errand boy, what becomes of the followers who have elevated him to the negotiation table)?" read his post on social media.
