Witnesses in TV actor Jamal Nassor Dissapear

Appearing before the High Court in Machakos on Tuesday, prosecutors in the murder case involving TV actor Jamal Nassor stated that three key witnesses had gone missing and couldn't be traced.

The prosecutors revealed that the suspect, Grace Kanamu Namulo, could, therefore, not be charged and that they are granted more time in order to complete investigations.

Namulo was appearing in the High Court for a case mentioning after a Mavoko law court on  December 13, ordered that she be remanded at Mlolongo Police Station for five days.

The judge, despite arguments by the defence against holding the suspect for more days, detained Namulo until December 27 to allow for further investigations.

In an earlier report, Namulo gave her version of events explaining that the slain actor fell on the kitchen knife.

"Mr Gadafi accidentally fell on the kitchen knife when the argument we were having got heated. It's not true that I killed him," she stated.

She also revealed that on the night of December 11, when the incident took place, she stumbled upon Gadafi who was writhing in pain after fell on the knife.

However, according to a police report, the late TV actor had an argument with Namulo who then drove a long knife into his chest.

"It was reported that Jamal Nassul Gaddafi (39), was having a party at Arks Hotel near 67 Airport Hotel on the night of December 11, 2018. There was a quarrel between him and his friend Grace Kanamu Namulo (40). She picked a knife and stabbed him," the police report read in part.
