Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi as revealed what Uhuru Kenyatta would be if he wasn't a politician.
On his an analysis through his weekly show The 5th Estate, Mutahi opined that although Uhuru is largely overrated he is exemplary street smart and would easily to be a reputable broker.
"Kenyans have misread Uhuru completely. He is a Catholic. He is not originally from the army and loves children. He is not smart, just rich. This view of Uhuru is far from the truth.
"Uhuru is a smart, ruthless Catholic with a high gangster index. If he wasn't a Prince, he would be a broker," he stated.
The political analyst opined that as a broker in the streets, Uhuru would be the type of a dealer who would embark of acquiring a submarine from the Russian navy for fun's sake.
Owing to Uhuru's smartness, Mutahi expressed the opinion that the handshake and the controversy it has elicited could be another well-orchestrated hoax.
In his view, by drawing close to Raila Odinga, Uhuru had effectively irritated his deputy William Ruto.
The controversy in effect has drawn sympathy among Uhuru's supporters alleging betrayal on Ruto.
According to Mutahi, it is a clever trick that would effectively see Ruto become popular while equally destroying Raila's place as the Opposition chief.
"Uhuru understands that we destroy our enemies when we make them our friends.
"If we see Uhuru as an actor and the Presidency as the stage, we will see a smart, ruthless Catholic. A man with a high gangster index," the analyst concludes.
