Kenya's Under-15 (U15) national football team will travel to Spain to take part in the MIC Football Tournament.
The competition will take place in Costa Brava between April 16 and April 21, 2019.
The Junior Stars will be up against Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Ajax, Manchester United, and Manchester City, among other top European teams.
The tournament was created to give young football players from all around the world the opportunity to play against the best international teams and players.
The competition happens every Easter, where thousands of young players from all over the world travel to Costa Brava.
Through 5 intense days, hundreds of games are played at the fields located all over Girona.
The team is currently put up at the Federation’s national center of excellence in Thome, Nairobi.
The centre also facilitates the players in daily training sessions at the Wadi Degla club in Runda.
About 15 players in the team were part of the national U13 team that took part in the annual Southampton Cup in England, in 2016, winning the Shield Trophy.
In preparation for the tournament, a friendly match against Jasper Academy has been lined up on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at the Ruiru Grounds.
