Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji is seeking to recruit over 100 new staff to help beef up the war on graft.
Haji mentioned that the staff will be deployed across all 47 counties.
“Successful candidates for posts of Prosecution Counsel can be deployed to any of the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions offices in the 47 counties and sub-counties with court stations,” read a notice inviting applicants.
The staff being sought include 65 prosecution clerks, 32 prosecution counsel, five senior researchers and five research officers.
Other positions advertised include statisticians, librarians and drivers.
Interested and qualified candidates are invited to make their applications by completing an application form downloaded from the ODPP’s official website or picked from Nairobi Headquarters and County Offices.
Persons with disability and those from marginalized communities are encouraged to apply.
Shortlisted candidates shall be required to produce their national identity card, academic and professional certificates and original transcripts and testimonials.
They also should have letters of appointment to their current substantive posts and previous post, detailed curriculum vitae and clearance certificates during the interviews.
This marks the latest recruitment drive by Haji in a bid to boost the capacity of his office to fight graft.
